Italy, Political Map Puzzle

Italy is shaped like a boot that stretches from the Alps to far out into the Mediterranean. The two major islands, Sardinia and Sicily, are the largest islands in the Mediterranean. Italy is divided into 20 regions, and the regions are divided into provinces and metropolitan areas. In this puzzle, the regions are marked with different colors. There are many ferry routes from the mainland and out to the islands, and also between the islands. Some of the most important routes are marked on the map. Below the Italian flag is the flag of the regions, and at the bottom the flags of the small states, the Vatican and San Marino. The puzzlepieces look pretty similar, read the names and study the map, then you can learn a lot.
